A new botanical workshop has been added to replace Kate Nolan’s botanical workshop which was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
In this workshop we will produce a stunning enlarged botanical study. It will show students how to produce stunning effects in coloured pencil work, equal to that of watercolour painting.
A step-by step botanical portrait will be the focus of the workshop.
Botanical art today is experiencing a wonderful revival. These are works of the plant world, beautifully painted, with all their fine details, beautifully rendered in vibrant accurate colours. But it can be a daunting objective for some students. In this accessible workshop we will go through the techniques in a step-by-step process that culminates in an accurate, fabulous representation of your native plant subject.
With 13 days to go until the fun starts we have only a few vacancies available in three workshops. Come and join the fun, don’t miss out.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Margaret Muffet who was tutoring the Botanical Art workshop, is unable to honour her commitment to teach in April 2017. Fay is honoured and delighted at short notice to announce that Rita Parkinson has agreed to replace Margaret and conduct the Botanical Art workshop.
